Our Sessions

We have two sessions here at St Mellion Nursery. The morning session runs from 8.45am-11.45am and the afternoon session runs from 12.15pm-3.15pm. However, your child can also attend for the whole day which runs from 8.45am-3.15pm. In addition to this we offer breakfast club form 7.45am and afterschool club until 4.15pm.

15 Hours Free Child Care

 All children are entitled to 15 hours free childcare from the term after their third birthday.  We claim this once you have completed all of the relevant paper work. However, if you are claiming two year old funding, your child can start with us from when they turn three.

30 Hours Free Child Care

You may be able to claim 30 hours free child care if you and your partner work over 16 hours per week. This needs to be claimed through the government website https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare. If you are eligible you will be issued with a code, which will need renewing every three months. You need to provide us with this code in order for us to claim the funding.

You can also book your child in for additional hours, which are charged at £4.54 per hour and need to be booked and paid weekly in advance via Parent Pay.
